Tennessee Governor Cuts Ribbon For New TCAT Building Construction Trade Industry Campus

Governor Bill Lee on Monday cut a ribbon for a new Tennessee Center for Applied Technology Satellite campus in Kingsport that will offer fundamentals of the Building Construction Trade Industry. The new center is located at the old Career and technical space at the former Sullivan North High School Campus. Lee says young people who are gifted in ways that attach their brains to their hands needs to be developed and the center will provide that with fundamental skills development in Carpentry, Electrical Wiring, Bricklaying, and other building construction skills.
