THP: One adult and one juvenile injured in Saturday crash in Blountville
The THP reports that one adult and one juvenile were injured and charges are pending against a driver after a crash Saturday afternoon in Blountville. A crash report from the THP said the accident happened around 2:15 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 394 and Lee Highway in Blountville. Police say a Dodge pick up truck was traveling north on Lee Highway while a Toyota Rav4 was attempting to make a left turn onto 394. The Dodge, driven by a 54-year-old man, reportedly failed to stop for a red light and entered the intersection and hit the Toyota. The occupants of the Toyota, a 37-year-old man and a 17-year-old juvenile, were both injured. Police say charges are pending against the pick up truck driver.
