TRAFFIC ALERT: Railroad crossing repair in Johnson City

Upgrades to safety gates at the railroad crossing in Johnson City in the vicinity of West Market and Buffalo streets are expected to impact traffic patterns for three weeks.

The report said work begins on the Norfolk Southern property on Monday and maintenance will happen on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. That will result in traffic being diverted due to travel lanes being shut down.
