TVA Board of Directors Chair resigns
TVA, the nation’s largest public power provider, announced that Board of Directors Chair Bill Renick has resigned. Renick resigned as a board member effective February 24, according to an update filed to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer Jeremy Fisher is also leaving TVA. The board must select a new chair to serve out the remainder of Renick’s term within 30 days of his resignation. The nine-person board now has three vacancies. There must be five confirmed board members for TVA to make business decisions.
