Two SWVA preservation projects awarded VDHR grants

Two preservation projects in Southwest Virginia will each receive $225,000 in grant funding from the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. The Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grants Program has awarded the grants to the Octagon House Foundation in Marion for projects that will eventually allow public access to the building for the first time. And The Appalachia Cultural Arts Center Accessibility Rehabilitation Project will receive a grant to update the elevator and allow access to the upper floors.
