UPDATE: Man accused of killing son indicted on additional charges in Wise County

A Duffield, Virginia man charged with the murder of his 4-year-old son has been indicted on additional charges by a Wise County grand jury.

Court records show Sean Roberts, 40, is facing two counts of aggravated malicious wounding in connection with the assault that occurred in April in the city of Norton.

A woman and the small child were found injured and the pre-schooler later died of his injuries. Roberts was brought back to Virginia last month after police said he fled the area and was arrested on unrelated charges in neighboring Kentucky.
