UPDATE: Suspect in two murders found guilty in Sullivan County

A man was found guilty of murder in the death of his roommate at a Bluff City trailer court in 2017.

Jeffery Ray Phillips will be sentenced on March 14 for the beating death of 28-year-old Timothy France. Phillips was also named a suspect in a 2009 cold case in Greenville County, SC.

Police accuse Phillips of killing 24-year-old Allison Southerland-Craine and leaving her body under a bridge.
