UPDATE: Two of Sullivan County Jail escapees dead in Wilmington, North Carolina

Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy says two of the three inmates who escaped from the Blountville jail complex on Friday are dead.

Details have not been released regarding the death of Timothy Sarver and second-degree murder suspect Tobias Carr but only that the pair were confirmed deceased by police officials in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Sarver and Carr had been involved in a convenience store robbery in another part of the state and led police on a chase through several jurisdictions until their final stop in Wilmington.

The whereabouts of third escapee Johnny Brown are unknown.
