WCSO TN arrest man for aggravated assault

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 65 year old Ronnie Kaye Jones and charged him with Aggravated Assault. Deputies responded to the 3900 block of Highway 81 South around 2:30 p.m., December 26 and were told by the victim and multiple witnesses, Jones fired a double-barreled shotgun at the victim. The incident occurred on Haines Road. Prior to the incident, a witness called 911 and reported that Jones said he was going to shoot the victim and cut his throat. Deputies located Jones on Rock House Road and took him into custody without incident.  Jones is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond and will appear in court on December 29.
