WCSO TN: Christmas decoration vandals arrested
Two people were arrested Wednesday after allegedly vandalizing Christmas decorations and pointing a gun at a homeowner in Washington County, Tennessee. The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office said that 31 year old Dustin Otto Bishop of Elizabethton, and 29 year old Kaitlyn Dawn Malone of Johnson City were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. On December 19, deputies responded to a home on McKinley Road just after 1:30 a.m. The occupants of the residence said that the pair vandalized Christmas decorations outside of the home before knocking on a bedroom window. Bishop and Malone raised their ski masks to show their faces prior to Bishop pointing a firearm at the victim. The two were located on Wednesday afternoon walking on Highway 11-E near South Barton Street. Bishop reportedly attempted to flee and was arrested on South North Street. In addition to aggravated assault, Bishop is charged with resisting arrest and simple possession.
