Weekend Fire Claims The Life Of Kingsport Resident, And Three Pets

An investigation continues in Kingsport following a house fire that claims the life of a Kingsport resident and three pets. The blaze erupted around five thirty Saturday afternoon near the corner of G Street and Westmorland Street. The Kingsport Fire Department says during the fire attack and search, one person was reportedly recovered from the home, who was deceased. Three pets also perished in the blaze. The name of the victim has not been released. The Kingsport Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
