Food City Looking To Expand, Holds Hiring Event Wednesday

The region’s largest grocery store chain, with an employee base of 16 thousand employees is looking to expand. Food City is hosting a hiring event today with the goal of adding one thousand new associates for various positions in stores and distribution centers. The supermarket with locations in Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky announced in July it was hiring an additional 12 hundred employees for various positions.
