Johnson City man charged with sexual battery by an authority figure

After an investigation, a Johnson City man is charged with sexual battery by an authority figure. According to Johnson City police, 39 year old, Tyler Harmon, faces two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. JCPD was made aware of an inappropriate relationship between Harmon and a juvenile. An investigation revealed Harmon influenced the victim to have multiple private meetings where sexual contact took place. Harmon was arrested Friday and taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
