Cat recoups after frozen manhole problems in Jonesborough
The Washington County Tennessee Animal Shelter has accepted financial responsibility for a cat currently recuperating after being found frozen to a manhole cover in Jonesborough.
Police and fire officials responded to emergency calls about the animal and quickly rushed it to a vet hospital for initial care. The shelter is asking for the public’s help in driving down the medical costs for the cat.
The feline will also be available for adoption after it fully recovers. A link to donate is available on the group’s Facebook page.
