Buchanan County Head Start receives federal funding

After weathering the government shut down, the Buchanan County Head Start program’s leaders recently received good news, with $1.8 million in federal funding. The Buchanan County Head Start program celebrates their 40th anniversary this week helping thousands of families along the way. The program’s federal funding has been extended, allowing head start to continue providing two meals a day, transportation, school supplies and in-class learning.
