Gas prices continue to rise in Virginia
The latest Gasbuddy survey of stations in Virginia reports that the Average gasoline prices in the state have risen 0.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.83 per gallon today. Prices in Virginia are 2.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 14.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The cheapest station in Virginia was priced at $2.37 per gallon while the most expensive was $3.79 per gallon. The national average price of gasoline has risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.88 per gallon today.
