TN Vols to face Iowa State in NCAA “Sweet 16”

The Tennessee Volunteers are headed back to the Sweet 16. The sixth-seeded Vols took down third-seeded Virginia, 79-72 Sunday night and secured a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee was led by senior guard and Greeneville native Ja’Kobi Gillespie, who finished with 21 points and helped build the lead from the free-throw line in the final minute. With the win, Tennessee now advances to face second-seeded Iowa State in the Sweet 16 in Chicago on Friday.
