Chase for Jonesborough man ended by Greene County deputies

A Jonesborough man is facing multiple charges following a police pursuit that extended into Greene County.

According to a report from Sheriff Keith Sexton’s office, Jackie Lynn Dickens, 35, reportedly left a home on Horseshoe Bend Road after an argument and was found a mile away by responding deputies with slurred speech. Dickens then fled the scene at a high rate of speed but was later stopped by Greene County deputies.

Dickens’ charges include DUI, felony reckless endangerment, evading arrest, violation of implied consent and driving on a revoked license.
