Smyth County Water Dept. Services advises to boil water after water line break

A release from the Smyth County Water Department Services, advices residents living in the Town of Saltville, to boil their drinking water, after a water line broke Sunday. Affected is the Midway area on Lions Club Rd, Mountain Rd, Old Quarry Rd, Saddleback Rd and Hiss Street. Consuming water from unapproved sources of unknown, untested quality, may pose a threat to your health. The Water Department Services will notify residents when routine sampling shows there is no bacteriological contamination.
