Aldi is proposed tenant for the Volunteer Plaza Redevelopment in Bristol TN
The popular grocery chain, Aldi is a proposed tenant for a site within the Volunteer Plaza Redevelopment District in Bristol, Tennessee. The proposal is for a roughly 20,000 square foot Aldi grocery store off Volunteer Parkway. The overall redevelopment district is a little more than 11 acres with other potential businesses being included. The proposal is estimated to cost just under $5.5 million. The plan still needs approved by Bristol, Tennessee City Council and the Sullivan County Commission. If approved, developers estimate the project to take around seven months and open sometime next year. The project is expected to create 12-18 new jobs.
