An escaped Washington County, TN inmate back in custody

An escaped Washington County, Tennessee, inmate is back in custody after a car chase Thursday night. The Sheriff’s Office says that Justin Painter of Limestone walked off from the Washington County Detention Center workhouse car wash just after 7:30 p.m. stole a vehicle and led officers on a chase across several back roads. Officers forced Painter’s vehicle off Cherokee Road and arrested him. Painter is now facing multiple felony charges.
