Man accused of crashing into a JC parking lot, killing one, appears in court
The man accused of driving into a parking lot in downtown Johnson City, killing one and injuring three others, appeared in court Thursday. 36-year-old Steven Kotsonis is facing multiple charges, including 3 counts of vehicular assault, vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. During the preliminary hearing, flock camera footage was shown of the deadly crash on May 9th. During the hearing, five witnesses were called to the stand, including the three surviving victims who recounted the incident. Kotsonis is set to appear in criminal court on August 7th at 9 a.m.
