Police name suspect in Sunday night shooting in Johnson City

Investigators in Johnson City obtained arrest warrants in Sessions Court for a suspect tied to a downtown shooting that occurred early Sunday.

A city report said Flock cameras near Founders Park were used to identify Domynik Smith, 20, of Erwin who is charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

Police are accusing Smith of firing a weapon at three people following an argument near a parking area.
