Motorcyclist dies after weekend accident in Carter County

A motorcyclist is dead after a Saturday afternoon crash in Carter County on Highway 321 at Watauga Point. A preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, says that a Toyota was traveling westbound on Highway 321 when the motorcycle, which was traveling eastbound, left its lane and went into the westbound lanes striking the car. The motorcyclist, identified as 32 year old Anthony Inestroza, of North Carolina, was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center but died during transport. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
