Bluff City man arrested on firearms and drugs charges

A Bluff City man was arrested for possession of firearms and drugs. The Bluff City Police Department was investigating a residence on Woodland Drive as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. During the investigation, they saw a firearm in plain sight. Christopher Dempsey was identified and due to Dempsey’s prior felony charges, officers began a search. During the search, officers found four loaded firearms and suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Dempsey was arrested and transported to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
