Pigeon Forge’s Hard Rock Cafe to permanently close in August
Labor department officials have been informed that the Hard Rock Cafe on the parkway in Pigeon Forge will permanently close on August 23rd and eliminating 61 workers.
The agency issued a public WARN notice informing the public of the closure on Monday. It marks the second Hard Rock Cafe to close in Tennessee in the past three years with the Beale Street location in Memphis shuttering in 2023.
The Hard Rock brand is focusing more of its resources into hotel and casino properties, including the newest facility in Bristol, Virginia.
Hard Rock closed its Gatlinburg eatery and announced their move to the parkway in 2014. The adjacent property was just purchased and will become a new Hasbro attraction opening next summer.
