Mississippi mom’s concern triggers child porn investigation in Bristol, Virginia

Concerns from a mother in Mississippi about online activity involving her teen daughter led to the arrest of a Bristol, Virginia man.

A city police report said more than 8,000 child porn images were found on the home computer of William Tollie, 29, who faces charges of child porn possession, solicitation of a child, and use of a computer in sex offenses.

The parent located in Horn Lake, Mississippi, told Bristol investigators that Tollie had been exchanging messages with her daughter through an app called Discord.

The report said more charges could be placed against Tollie as officers continue to analyze more of his electronic equipment.
