Gas prices spike in VA as Middle East tensions escalate
Average gasoline prices in Virginia have risen 17.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.91/g today, according to GasBuddy’s latest survey of stations in Virginia. Prices in Virginia are 24.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 96.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The cheapest station in Virginia was priced at $3.39/g while the most expensive was $4.99/g. The national average price of gas has risen 13 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.95/g.
