Boys and Girls Club of Greeneville and Greene County cut ribbon on new facility
The Boys and Girls Club of Greeneville and Greene County opened its new facility on Sunday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Boys and Girls Club is a national nonprofit that provides safe after-school and summer programs for K-12 students. The new facility is located along East Vann Road and features a 27,000 square foot youth development center which is twice as large as the previous facility. The new $8 million facility features arts and crafts, a learning center, technology lab, health and wellness, games, activities and a new gym with 12 drop-down goals. The new facility also features a CTE, STEM and a workforce readiness program to keep students on track to graduate.
