THP arrest man after multi state pursuit

Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested a man Thursday after a pursuit, crossing state lines. 54 year old, Mark Calhoun was wanted on felony charges out of Norton after events earlier in the day. A THP trooper located Calhoun at I-26 and I-81 and attempted a traffic stop, continuing the pursuit. Spike strips were deployed, causing the Mustang to drive off the interstate at mile marker 20.4. Calhoun was arrested on a warrant out of Virginia. He was arrested and additionally charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest and financial responsibility. He was reportedly not injured in the crash.
