Washington County TN Commission denies rezoning request for RV park

The Washington County TN Commission denied a rezoning request for a proposed RV park. The proposal would have rezoned land around 1165 East Main Street in Jonesborough from an A-1 General Agriculture District to an A-3 Agriculture Business District, paving the way for the proposed RV park. The Washington County Regional Planning Commission recommended the denial of the request at its meeting on July 7. The full commission followed suit with the recommendation and denied the request in a vote Monday night.
