VA back to school tax holiday coming up this weekend

Last weekend was Tennessee’s back to school sales tax holiday, and this weekend Virginia resident’s will catch a break while shopping for back to school supplies. Virginia’s back to school sales tax holiday will be this weekend, August 7th -9th. Qualifying school supplies, clothing and footwear will be exempt from taxes along with certain hurricane and emergency preparedness items and qualifying Energy Star and WaterSense products.
