Washington County Courthouse to close to public for repairs

County officials say that the historic Washington County Courthouse in Jonesborough will be closed to the public from 8 a.m. Thursday, August 6, through 5 p.m. on Friday, August 7. The temporary closure is for repairs to the building’s air conditioning unit. The closing applies only to offices in the historic courthouse.
