Report: Two Ridgeview Elementary students made serious threats against teachers

Students at a Dickenson County school overheard a conversation between two classmates that could now result in criminal charges.

Superintendent Haydee Robinson confirmed the two juveniles’ conversation involved a serious threat against teachers at Ridgeview Elementary and their parents were notified quickly while law enforcement handled the situation.

Robinson’s statement also said no weapons were involved and credited the students who reported the two, making the investigation process quicker.
