Sullivan County leaders vote to not renew Flock camera contract, discontinue use

The Sullivan County Commission voted on a resolution not to renew the county’s contract with Flock Safety. The resolution was amended to also state that Flock cameras would not be used within the county. It does not apply though, to cameras used by Kingsport and Bristol police. The resolution passed with 18 votes in favor. The resolution will go into effect in January when the county’s contract with Flock Safety is completed.
