Gasoline prices continue upward march in VA and TN
According to the latest GasBuddy survey of stations in Virginia, The average gasoline prices in Virginia have risen 10.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.95/g. Prices in Virginia are 15.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 93.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The cheapest station in Virginia was found to be priced at $3.59/g, while the most expensive was $5.79/g. The national average price of gasoline has risen 2.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.09/g. Gasoline prices are also rising in Tennessee with drivers paying an average of $3.79/g, which is up over 13 cents from last week.
