TBI investigation into sex and labor trafficking includes Kingsport business, 10 women arrested statewide
Ten women in Tennessee have been arrested as part of a statewide operation to “identify and recover victims of sex and labor trafficking at spas” in the state, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation report released Friday lists Kingsport as a location where victims were sought but did not name a specific business. The TBI said ten women were arrested and charged with various crimes including Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution, Impersonating a Licensed Professional. Several are now under Immigration Holds. Spas involved in the investigation were located in the Murfreesboro, Columbia, Chattanooga, Kingsport and Cookeville areas.
