Gas prices continue to climb in TN and VA

The national average price of gas has climbed to $4.44 a gallon according to the latest data from GasBuddy, making it increasingly difficult for drivers to find relief at the pump. In our region, Tennessee’s statewide average sits at $4.05 a gallon, while drivers across the border in Virginia are paying a higher average of $4.18 per gallon. Local prices vary drastically depending on where you look, with the lowest-priced stations offering temporary relief while the most expensive ones push deep into five-dollar territory.
