1 arrested after Duffield VA shooting incident

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Duffield area after a reported shooting. Police arrived and located the victim, who was not injured. The suspect was identified as Justin Butler. Butler has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless handling of a firearm, maliciously shooting a firearm at an occupied vehicle, and shooting a firearm from a vehicle. Justin Butler was arrested without incident on Saturday.
