Big changes for Racks by the Tracks in Kingsport for 2026

Kingsport’s Racks by the Tracks music, BBQ, and beer tasting festival just announced it will move back to Main Street this year and take place on October 10. Visit Kingsport’s Emily Thompson says after 18 years it was time for a refresh, and that the changes will bring the festival back to where it began on Main street and turn into a fall-time event. Thompson also said the one-day event was moved from mid-summer to October 10 to make for cooler temperatures and less humidity for festival-goers.
