Bond not revoked for man charged with assault and battery

The bond was not revoked for David A. Umberger, who is charged with assault and battery following a viral video in Clintwood. Umberger is charged with assault and battery. The Dickenson County Court Clerk’s Office says a judge ruled Monday that Umberger must not have any contact with the alleged victim. The Commonwealth’s Attorney has appealed the ruling of Umberger’s bond not being revoked. The hearing is scheduled for November 19 at 9 a.m. The next hearing in the assault and battery case will be January 14 at 1 p.m.
