Bristol TN Parks and Rec continues to design new aquatic center
The Bristol, Tennessee Department of Parks and Recreation is in the early stages of consulting with an architecture firm to craft a design plan for a new aquatic center. Parks and Recreation Director Mark Mains told WJHL that the department has been working on the project for almost a year and two months ago selected architecture firm Clark Nexsen to draft design plans for the new facility. The new aquatic center is planned to hold a recreation center, gymnasiums, workout spaces, and indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities. A finalized design plan is expected within the next 10 weeks and are hoping to have the new aquatic center built within a year or so.
