Carter County Commission Budget Committee leaves in Senior Center funding

The Carter County Commission Budget Committee voted to table proposed funding cuts to the Elizabethton Senior Center Monday. Last week, the committee considered removing outside agencies, including the senior center, from its line items. The committee is set to meet on Thursday with a hearing. The full commission will meet on June 15.
