Domestic assault suspect sprayed with bear mace during altercation
Police said a suspect in a domestic violence case in Washington County, Tennessee was sprayed with bear mace amid his attack.
Jeffery Love, 43, is charged with one count of aggravated domestic assault and interference with an emergency call following the incident in the 1600 block of Highway 107.
Investigators said Love assaulted one of the residents with a fire poker. That’s when one of the victim sprayed Love and began an emergency call for help. Officers said Love smacked the phone out of the victim’s hand and began punching.
He was taken into custody outside of the home and is being held in jail without bond.
