Emergency management needs reports of flood damages in Greene County
Greene County Emergency Management officials are asking county and city residents to submit reports on any damages suffered during recent flooding to their offices by Thursday.
Any home or business owner with structural or other types of damage can call the county’s emergency offices and leave a detailed voicemail with name, address, site of the damages, and detailed information about the property.
The information will be forwarded to state officials then evaluated by FEMA to determine a ruling on a disaster declaration. The review is not a guarantee of relief funding, the agency said in a statement.
