ETSU awarded grant to support students with disabilities

ETSU has been awarded with a $130,000 grant to support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging funding will help provide living stipends for students, which may include meal plans and support training for staff working in the program. State leaders say the goal is to expand access to higher education and improve outcomes for students across Tennessee. The grant is part of a $1 million investment being distributed to five colleges and universities statewide.
