Gov. Lee appoints Elizabethton judge to Court of Criminal Appeals
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has appointed Elizabethton Judge Stacy Street to the Court of Criminal Appeals, Eastern Section. Judge Street is currently a Criminal Court Judge in the First Judicial District and has been a judge since 2013. He earned his bachelor’s degree from ETSU and his juris doctor at University of Tennessee College of Law. Street has been appointed to fill a vacancy created by Judge Kyle Hixson’s elevation to the Tennessee Supreme Court. The appointment is effective July 7 and is subject to legislative confirmation.
