Greeneville HS Lady Devils basketball coach announces retirement
After more than a decade leading the Greeneville Lady Devils, head girls basketball coach Annette Watts is stepping away from the program. Watts announced her retirement after 13 seasons at Greeneville High School, following the team’s loss to Cocke County in the state sectionals. Watts leaves with the second most all-time wins for the Lady Devils at 274 wins. Under her leadership, Greeneville captured three regular season championships and five district tournament titles. The Lady Devils also won two regional championships and made three appearances in the TSSAA state tournament.
