Hampton High School welcomes students back after Helene storm damage

Hampton High School students were back in their classrooms Wednesday, over one year after Hurricane Helene severely damaged the campus and building. Students had been using Keensburg Elementary as their temporary home since the storm. There is still more work to be done on the campus. The school just entered the first phase one of a multi-phase plan. Phase one was to get all students back into the building. The next steps will focus on beautifying the school.
