I-81N to I-26E ramp to close this weekend for repairs, detour will be in place

A ramp at the interchange of Interstate 81 and Interstate 26 will be closed Friday night through early Monday morning due to road repairs. The ramp from I-81 North to I-26 East, that is Exit 57A, will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Crews will be performing concrete repairs during the closure. Traffic will be detoured to the Fort Henry Drive exit, 59. TDOT said the closure is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use caution in the area.
